This role exists to carry forward a clear, consistent voice across our website, social media, email, print, and campaigns while faithfully implementing the vision and direction of the ministry.


We are looking for someone who is both highly self-motivated and deeply aligned. Someone who takes initiative, exercises good judgment, and understands that in ministry, communications are about trust, dignity, and long-term relationships, not just creativity or clicks.


Duties:

  • Execute marketing and communications strategies that reflect leadership vision and organizational priorities
  • Maintain consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all platforms
  • Create and manage content for website, social media, email, print, and campaigns
  • Collaborate closely with the VP and Development & Community Relations team
  • Balance multiple priorities while meeting deadlines with care and accuracy
  • Handle sensitive information and stories with discretion and respect
  • Support fundraising, donor stewardship, and community engagement efforts
  • Adapt calmly to seasonal demands, events, and urgent needs with professionalism
  • Support and occasionally lead special projects, donor outreach efforts, events and other
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, devotionals, and team prayer, contributing to a culture of faith, excellence, and accountability.

  • Experience in marketing, communications, or related fields
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Adept at managing deadlines and multiple projects without losing sight of the details
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling donor communications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, donor CRM systems (we use Raiser's Edge) 
  • 5+ years of development/advancement office experience, particularly in areas of donor communication and stewardship, annual fund, and direct mail management
  • Energized by mission-driven work and being a servant-leader
  • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and demonstrate a strong Christian witness in all interactions

This is an on-site role that reports to the VP of Development and Community Relations
