Job Title: Executive Chef

Location: San Luis Obispo, California. 

We offer:

- Rate: $75,000-$80,000 (based on experience)  

- A competitive profit share program 20-40% target

Job Type: Full-time


Requirements:

- At least 3 years in an Executive Chef or similar executive-level role
- Ability to speak Spanish is preferred


Executive Chef skills and qualifications

Executive Chefs use a variety of culinary skills and soft skills to lead kitchens and provide excellent meal service to our guests.


These skills include, but not limited to:

• Expert knowledge of the restaurant and/or concept (seafood expert)

• Advanced culinary skills including food preparation, flavor pairings and other cooking best practices

• Current knowledge of trends in the restaurant industry

• In-depth knowledge of federal, state and local food handling regulations

• Comfortable training, directing and supervising kitchen staff

• Exceptional leadership skills, including motivation and goal setting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Time management and organization



Salary Information

$75000.00 - $80000.00 Annual Salary
