POSITION SCOPE

The Construction Site Manager will oversee multiple projects simultaneously and serve as the worksite representative for dealings with contractors, suppliers, and A/E CAs. This position will ensure compliance with all state and local procedures, regulations, and codes, and will provide updates to Managing Director, Alamo Plan (MDAP) on a regular basis.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provide strategic direction and overall guidance on achieving agreed targets and objectives.

Maintain close relationship and communication with clients (vendors, contractors, etc.) on behalf of the Alamo Plan.

Contribute to activity management, project planning, implementation, and reporting, working in collaboration with Alamo Plan teams.

Arrange, attend, and facilitate a variety of meetings, including weekly meetings at the project site.

Document issues encountered and problems observed with the contractors, reporting results to MDAP. Assist in resolutions, tracking and follow-up.

Review contractor baseline and progress schedules; provide MDAP w/variance reports.

Inspect the work of the construction contractor, progress, workmanship, quality and conformance with contract documents, applicable building codes and safety standards documenting deficiencies and or non-conformances.

Deliver reports, reviews, evaluations, design work, to MDAP.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree preferred.

5+ years construction experience and supervisor experience.

Written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
