Sales Engineer – HVAC (National Role)

Allegis is hiring a Sales Engineer to lead and grow our presence in the HVAC market nationwide.

This role is built for a self-directed, industry-savvy professional who knows HVAC, enjoys being in front of customers, and thrives without hand-holding. You will travel nationally, own your market strategy, and act as the technical and commercial face of Allegis within the HVAC industry.

This position will be located at our corporate office in Minneapolis, MN.

What You’ll Do

Own the HVAC market strategy: target customers, applications, and product focus

Lead product introductions, design assistance, and technical engagement

Partner with Business Development Managers and Representatives to drive growth

Build and maintain senior-level relationships with strategic HVAC customers

Prospect new business and expand existing accounts

Influence and participate in new HVAC product and technology development

Represent Allegis at trade shows, customer visits, and industry events

Communicate market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities

Who You Are

Experienced in the HVAC industry with a strong technical foundation

An engineer who is comfortable selling, presenting, and influencing

Highly self-directed, organized, and accountable for results

Outgoing, confident, and effective with customers at all levels

Willing and able to travel frequently across the U.S.

Engineering background with HVAC market familiarity

Proven ability to drive customer solutions and growth

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to manage multiple customers and initiatives independently

Comfort with CRM systems and modern collaboration tools
