Are you a motivated student interested in gaining hands-on legal experience within a fast-paced, regulated medical device environment? At VB Spine, our Legal Interns support the in-house Legal team by contributing to real business and legal matters while gaining exposure to contracts, compliance, and corporate legal operations.

This internship is ideal for students who are detail-oriented, analytical, and curious about how legal teams partner with the business to manage risk, ensure compliance, and support growth in a global organization.

What You’ll Do: 

• Conduct legal research and summarize findings under supervision
• Maintain logs and trackers related to contracts, compliance, and legal matters
• Assist with contract drafting, revisions, and proofreading to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Support contract review processes and ensure adherence to established approval workflows
• Help ensure contract terms align with company policies and applicable legal and regulatory requirements
• Assist in building and maintaining a centralized database of contracts and related documentation
• Participate in legal calls and meetings to gain insight into in-house legal decision-making
• Support special projects and day-to-day activities assigned by the Legal team

What You Bring: 

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based sponsorship
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
• Ability to exercise independent judgment while working collaboratively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and business acumen
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor

Compensation: 

This is a paid internship position with an hourly rate of $30 per hour.

This role is based in Leesburg, VA or Allendale, NJ. While non-local candidates may apply, relocation and housing assistance are not provided, and candidates are responsible for all related expenses.

VB Spine reserves the right to offer compensation outside of this listed range. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers factors such as experience level, skill set, and market conditions.
