Currency Exchange International is looking for a skilled and motivated Business Development & Account Manager to join our Sales Team! This is a hybrid position, based in Orlando, FL.


Summary: The Business Development & Account Manager – Non-FI Banknote Clients is responsible for driving revenue growth across commercial sectors outside traditional financial institutions. This role blends lead generation, outbound prospecting, early-stage sales engagement, and account management to expand CXI’s non-FI banknote revenue. The role requires a competitive, self-motivated individual skilled in building pipelines, cultivating relationships, and supporting ongoing client activity to maximize recurring volume.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Identify, research, and prioritize high-value commercial prospects across cruise lines, MSBs, retail chains, travel companies, hospitality groups, agent networks and international clients.
  • Conduct outbound outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, and campaign tools to generate new business opportunities.
  • Qualify prospects through discovery, understanding currency needs, logistics workflows, order frequency, and decision-making criteria.
  • Manage a revenue-focused pipeline and consistently meet activity, meeting, and opportunity creation targets.
  • Support ongoing account management by nurturing relationships, re-engaging dormant clients, and identifying opportunities to increase order volume.
  • Educate prospects on CXI’s banknote solutions, competitive advantages, and value propositions.
  • Coordinate introductory or follow-up meetings between prospective clients and senior sales/account management staff.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Operations, Compliance, and Product, to ensure smooth onboarding and strong client experience.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, activity tracking, forecasting, and reporting on pipeline health and performance metrics.
  • Provide routine insights to leadership regarding market trends, competitive developments, and client needs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of prospecting strategies, outreach messaging, and overall sales process effectiveness.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Experience in lead generation, business development, SDR/BDR roles, or account management preferred.
  • Experience working in a metrics-driven environment with activity, meeting, and pipeline targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; equivalent experience accepted.
