Brief Company Description

AGC Heat Transfer, Inc., is the leading OEM of sanitary plate heat exchangers in North America, manufacturing plate heat exchangers specifically designed for sanitary applications. AGC offers complete heat exchangers, services as well as upgrades to plate packs, gaskets and spares that fit multiple brands.  In addition, AGC offers Field Leak Testing and inspections of plate heat exchangers that meet the 3-A sanitary standard.
 
AGC Heat Transfer consists of four manufacturing/service facilities (Bristow, VA, Fairview, OR ,Pleasant Prairie, WI & Fort Worth, TX) with about 130 employees.  Currently, most of the sales are in the US & Canada.   AGC Heat Transfer has a strong engineering culture with a heavy emphasis on customer service and technical/consultative sales. 

Job Description
The Inside Sales Coordinator’s primary function is to support AGC sales engineers, end user customers and distributors by completing quotation requests, entering orders and responding to general requests for information in a timely and customer focused manner. There will also be various administrative tasks which assist with the sales structure in AGC’s ERP systems. The successful candidate will generate sales opportunities from existing inquiries and interactions with current and potential customers.  This position reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing and requires full-time office presence in our Springfield, MO. location. 


Position Responsibilities
Fulfill customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and existing end users (direct) and distributors via phone and email communications from the office. Responsible for incoming phone calls to the office and assisting customers.
  • Provide quotations, enter orders, information requests (brochures, drawings, etc.) mainly for AGC after-market products in a friendly and timely manner. AGC’s expectation on response time for after-market quotations and order entry is 24.hours to maintain our leading position in the marketplace.
  • Oversee after-market parts and service sales engagements from start to finish.
  • After-market products include spare parts (gaskets, plates and frame components), AGC service products are Plate Check, and Installation Assistance and re-gasketing jobs in AGC factories.
  • Work in partnership with sales engineers’ efforts to achieve business growth through AGC’s structured sales plans. Support sales engineer requests for assistance as required.
  • Identify and leverage sales opportunities when applicable.
  • Enter proposals and orders accurately into company CRM for sales pipeline management and QTC (quote to close) analysis, along with required documents to track opportunities.
  • Gain customer confidence and acceptance by explaining AGC features, benefits and positive impact for their operation.
  • Submits orders accurately into company ERP system and adjust with any updates as the equipment is built.
  • Work closely and have collaborative relationships with AGC sales engineers, field service team and factory to process orders to meet customer expectations.
  • Assist accounting with customer contact, if required.
  • Provide accurate and timely feedback on status of lost proposals through CRM tool and any competitive environment information to management for resolution.
  • Participate actively in monthly, online sales meetings, sharing information and knowledge for all colleagues.
  • Support general sales department needs as required.

Skills & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Two or Four-Year Degree preferred.
  • 5+ Years’ Work Experience preferred.
  • Previous inside sales experience highly regarded.

  • Occasional travel required for training at our other locations may be necessary.

Physical Requirements

  •   Regularly required to stand, walk and move throughout the facility for extended   periods.
  • Use of hands and arms to operate computers, review documents and interact with Sales team members..
  • Ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively to monitor production activities, provide instructions and ensure safety compliance.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling or reaching to observe equipment, review workstations or participate in process improvement activities.

Wage
  • $60,000 - $62,000 annually
