Material Handler

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective: The Material Handler is responsible for accurate and efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials throughout the facility. This role involves operating various types of equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and trucks. The Material Handler ensures that inventory levels are maintained, orders are fulfilled correctly, and materials are handled safely and securely.

Essential Functions:  

Learn and demonstrate proficiency in all functions of 1 zone on the production line.

Learn and demonstrate proficiency in completion of all production documentation.

Supervisory Responsibility: Provide training, support and guidance as needed to ensure the employee has the best opportunity for success. 

Work Environment: 

Indoor work is required. 

Working conditions can change based on seasons. 

Physical Demands: Lifting of up to 50lbs on a daily basis. 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

40 hours per week with potential for overtime. 

Travel: No travel is required for this position. 

Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
