Summary: To receive and unload from delivery trucks new products from manufactures and returned or reclassified products from the customer.
Location: Earth City, MOHourly Rate: $18.00/hr up to $21.39/hr after 12 months of employment Standard Work Hours: 5:30AM-2:00PMEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Ability to understand Bills of Lading to ensure an accurate and precise count of
merchandise received at the facility.
- Daily navigation on the computer is required
- Must be able to print required receiving reports on a daily basis.
- Operation of a RF scanner is required
- Requires applying case id labels on each box received
Separate product by zone and distribute/move to proper zone
Keep track of stocking process via PkMS inquiry screens
Clean-up and general housekeeping of receiving department.
Ability to operate a forklift – Certification required.
Follow and adhere to all safety rules including the handling of hazardous materials.
- Requires understanding of manufacturer packaging, units of measure and product location.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to write legibly. Must be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing part numbers and line codes to ensure proper identification and placement of products for storage including identifying sequence of numbers and letters accurately and rapidly.
Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.
The employee is frequently required to move or lift product up to 60 pounds and push/pull 300 pounds using hitch-and-go dolly. Must be able to move skids of paper and other heavy product in excess of 1,000 pounds with moving aids designed to move such items including hand trucks, dollies, motorized cart, pallet jacks, etc. Must be able to repeatedly get in and out of back of a truck and bend or stoop to ground level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves (8 feet) with use of stool or ladder when necessary.
The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
