About this position

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to lead our procurement operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of dental and medical supplies, equipment, and services across our practice. While dental experience is a plus, we are primarily looking for candidates with strong procurement expertise in healthcare settings. 


Salary Information

$58240 - $72800 Annual Salary

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

•   Develop and implement procurement strategies that optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines

•   Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

•   Forecast supply needs and maintain optimal inventory levels across multiple departments

•   Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to understand procurement requirements

•   Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

•   Ensure timely and accurate purchasing of supplies, equipment, and services

•   Maintain procurement records and generate reports for leadership review

•   Lead and mentor procurement staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence

•   Oversee facilities and equipment maintenance schedules, ensuring timely inspections, servicing, and compliance with safety standards

•  Coordinate and schedule repairs or replacements of dental and medical equipment in collaboration with clinical teams and service vendors


Qualifications

•  5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in healthcare or dental environments

•  Proven track record of vendor negotiation and contract management

•  Strong analytical and organizational skills

•  Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

•  Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems


Preferred Skills

•  Experience with dental-specific supply chains and vendors

•  Familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare compliance standards

•  Certification in supply chain or procurement (e.g., CPSM, C.P.M.)


Schedule

•  5 days per week, 8 hours per day

•  4 days per week, 10 hours per day


Compensation

•  $27 - $35/hr. + bonus opportunities
