Production Manager

Our Jackson plant plays a critical role in delivering operational excellence and driving innovation across our production network. We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to lead transformation efforts, instill a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure world-class manufacturing performance.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Production Manager will provide strategic leadership and hands-on management for the Jackson facility’s production operations. This role is responsible for leading change, driving organizational turnaround, and establishing sustainable practices that improve productivity, safety, quality, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with the ability to manage complexity, inspire teams, and deliver results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead all production operations, ensuring efficient use of people, equipment, materials, and processes to meet business goals.
• Drive organizational turnaround by implementing structured systems, performance metrics, and accountability at all levels.
• Champion change management initiatives, creating a culture of ownership, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute production strategies that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve labor utilization.
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to align on business objectives.
• Monitor KPIs and production performance, identifying gaps and leading corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while fostering a safe, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing production team, strengthening bench strength and leadership capability.
• Manage budgets, resources, and production schedules to achieve operational targets and customer requirements.
• Drive Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to achieve operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Proven success leading change and turnaround in production/manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and people development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and production planning.
