Under paramedic mentorship, the paramedic student?performs pre-hospital care in a holistic-systematic way and produces optimal patient outcomes. Utilizing federal, state, & EAMC approved standards of care, the paramedic student will incorporate data, assessment findings, and best practice standards while providing patient care. The paramedic student documents patient care activities and relays pertinent patient information to those involved in the patients plan of care. The paramedic student will perform all duties, exhibiting the EAMC core values of integrity, compassion, excellence, respect, and teamwork within the scope of practice as a paramedic student.
The Paramedic Student will be expected to meet all classwork, clinical, classroom simulation and any other requirements for the Paramedic program.
