Service Technician – Heavy Equipment
Location: Lisbon, WI 53089

Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $25 - $38 per hour, based on experience

We’re looking for a skilled Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment—both in-shop and in the field. You’ll work on hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems, ensuring top-notch service and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair Vermeer machinery
• Perform maintenance and field service work, including but not limited to, disassembling, assembling, inspecting, and rebuilding of different components including hydraulics, fuel systems, power generation, and electrical codes
• Use diagnostic tools and software
• Maintain accurate service records
• Communicate repair needs with the team and customers
• Follow all safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of equipment service experience
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools
• Strong communication and basic computer skills
• Valid CDL license, or ability to obtain one
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs, work in tight spaces, and operate in outdoor environments
• Must have own tools

Preferred:

• Technical certification
• 3+ years of equipment service experience
