Hubbard Supplyhouse is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our family-like atmosphere. The Warehouse Associate – Receiving supports warehouse operations by accurately receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming shipments. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring products are properly organized and available to support customer orders and branch operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a “team first” environment and has a passion for customer service. 

Responsibilities and Duties

Receiving Operations

· Unload incoming shipments and inspect products for damage or discrepancies

· Match incoming items to packing slips and purchase orders

· Accurately label and stock materials in designated warehouse locations

· Report shortages, overages, damages, or incorrect shipments to a supervisor

· Update receiving and inventory information in the system as required

Team Collaboration

· Communicate effectively with warehouse leads, purchasing, and sales teams

· Notify supervisors of delivery delays or receiving issues

· Work cooperatively with team members to maintain workflow and accuracy

· Follow direction to meet daily productivity and quality expectations

General Warehouse Support

· Keep receiving and storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards

· Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and product rotation as needed

· Follow all company safety policies and properly use equipment and tools

Required:

· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

· Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or physical labor role

· Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds

· Basic computer or scanning tool proficiency

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Preferred:

· Experience in plumbing, irrigation, or wholesale distribution environments

· Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems

· Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or similar equipment

· Ability to multitask and remain organized in a high-volume environment

· Dependable, team-focused work style
