About this position

KeenLogic is seeking to hire a Journeyman Document Specialist to join our team at the Center of Disease Control. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience with IT Support and be responsible for installing Windows image on all machines, unboxing/boxing equipment, inventory of equipment, etc. This is a full-time, on-site position offering benefits, PTO, 401k, and Life Insurance.
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Education HS/GED or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years IT related experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • 3+ years of direct interaction with customers and clients in a corporate or government environment
Specific Skills
  • 2+ years hardware experience working with a variety of Intel based PCs, laptops, tablets, and servers;
  • Trouble shooting issues that might come up while imaging.
  • Inventory of equipment
  • 2+ years experience imaging machines. (Ghost/SCCM)
  • 2+ years software experience: Win7/Win10, Outlook (Exchange), mobile phone support (Droid, Blackberry, & IPhone), Imaging PCs with provided Windows image.
  • 2+ years of property management systems 
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Strong ability to track and report any issues.
    • Unboxing equipment
    • Re-boxing equipment after imaged.
    • Processing equipment to be shipped

  • Highly skilled in multi-tasking
  • Windows imaging
  • Communication skills in both written and verbal are a must.
  • Must be able to work with a small team and create cohesive team environment.
