Job Summary: Teardown, clean & prep returned core motors

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Disassembly & cleaning of core motors
  • Identify different makes of motors
  • Identify worn out parts for discard
  • Turn armatures on lathe for rebuild
  • Sort all good parts for rebuild
  • Polish &/or paint motor cases for rebuild
  • Help maintain inventory of parts & motors
  • Keep work area clean & organized
  • Help maintain safe work environment
  • *Other duties as assigned

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of working with hand tools & handheld power tools (drills, grinders, etc)

 

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years related experience preferred

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Be able to stand for long periods of time
