Job Summary: Teardown, clean & prep returned core motors
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Disassembly & cleaning of core motors
- Identify different makes of motors
- Identify worn out parts for discard
- Turn armatures on lathe for rebuild
- Sort all good parts for rebuild
- Polish &/or paint motor cases for rebuild
- Help maintain inventory of parts & motors
- Keep work area clean & organized
- Help maintain safe work environment
- *Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of working with hand tools & handheld power tools (drills, grinders, etc)
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years related experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
