Warehouse Lead

We are looking to add a Warehouse Lead to our Kansas City team.  As a lead, you will assign work within the department and monitor until completion.   You will also maintain communication with upper management, observe SOP for consistent quality standards and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.  This role also supports our Exhibit Sales team, and you must be able to professionally interact with customers, other team members and outside vendors.  

You will report directly to the GM.  Position does require being on-site full-time.  Must be available to work some weekends and nights as needed for coverage on various shows.  

Pay is $22-24/hr.

What you’ll do: 

• Oversee the pulling of stock items such as beMatrix, or similar, rental units to produce custom exhibits for trade shows. 
• Conduct department functions such as scheduling, training, and leading workers in department.     
• Monitor and enforce safety procedures.
• Properly track all materials used on jobs.
• Maintain a productive and safe environment for team workers. 
• Participate in training as appropriate to continuously upgrade skills.
• Perform team worker training as necessary.
• Communicate to supervisors and managers on daily activities and needs.
• Contribute to the goal of current and accurate inventory control.
• Maintain legible and accurate records or logs as required.
• Monitor performance of team workers within the work group 
• Manage workload planning. 
• Monitor and communicate methods of operations and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Flexibility to work weekends and after hours for show coverage.

Who You Are: 

• High school diploma or equivalent.  
• 3-5 years related experience.
• Forklift Certification
