About this position

Job Description: 

The student will assist the Department Chair with the needs of the Sculpture department. The student will support the Chair with tracking the budget and scanning and labeling receipts, tasks will relate to organizing to field trips, guest critics, visiting artists, making copies, picking up mail from the campus mail room, and preparing Critique schedules,. The Assistant to the chair plays the key role in organizing the End of Semester Show, final reviews, and open house events in the department. Keep the green room and the Loft resource room clean and organized, including upkeep of printers.  

 

Weekly Meetings with the department. The chair to plan events will likely be on Mondays and Wednesdays. but work hours are flexible. There will be an occasional Friday or Saturday 

to work special event related to Admissions and promoting the Sculpture program.

 

FERPA Privacy Training is required for this position.

Salary Information

$13.75 Hourly Wage
