Key Responsibilities

• Manage shareholder derivative litigation cases in federal and state courts
• Draft and brief motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
• Conduct in-depth legal research on securities law and corporate fiduciary duties
• Collaborate with partners and associates to develop case strategies and manage litigation from inception to resolution
• Handle client communications and provide proactive case updates
• Support discovery processes, including document review and e-discovery (ESI) management
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings

Qualifications

Required:

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience, with a focus on commercial or securities law (plaintiff or defense side)
• Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to case work
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
• Stable employment history with a demonstrated commitment to excellence

Preferred:

• Demonstrated interest or experience in securities law and corporate fiduciary duties
• Familiarity with financial markets, accounting standards, and finance theory
• Prior experience at a plaintiffs’ securities firm, Big Law, or in complex litigation
• Experience with shareholder derivative litigation or class actions

Salary & Benefits

• Base Salary: $180,000 – $300,000 (based on experience and background)
• Bonus: Performance-based annual bonus eligibility
• Work Setup: Primarily onsite, with possible flexibility for 1 day hybrid
