Salary Range: $16.00 to $18.00 Hourly
Position Summary:
The Broadmoor World Arena and Pikes Peak Center are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to support the marketing team in the promotion of concerts, sporting events, Broadway productions, family shows, and community events. This hands-on internship offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in live entertainment marketing at two of Colorado Springs’ premier venues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the execution of grassroots marketing efforts including flyer distribution, community outreach, managing/growing the street team and local event promotions.
• Support digital marketing efforts such as website management, email marketing, social media, CRM, etc.
• Help track and archive marketing materials and show promotions.
• Monitor press coverage and compile media clippings.
• Conduct demographic and market research, analyzing results to inform marketing efforts.
• Assist in selecting and preparing artist welcome gifts and dressing room signage.
• Contribute to marketing recaps and post-show reports.
• Support special events and on-site promotions as needed.
• Research leads and opportunities to sell group tickets and build partnerships that help grow our audience and boost sales
• Perform other administrative and support tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a college or university program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
