Job Title: Child and Youth Worker

Job Type: Full Time Permanent

Frontenac Youth Services is a non-profit Mental Health Agency which has been providing assistance to adolescents (12-18 years) and their families within the Durham Region since 1972.

We are currently looking for Child and Youth Workers to work in our Live-in Treatment Programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Child and Youth Worker or similar diploma (at least in second year of the program)
  • Previous experience working in children's mental health
  • Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
  • Valid Class G driver’s license with acceptable driving record, 3 years of experience, and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Valid Standard First Aid/CPR Certification (Or willing to obtain)
  • Employment with Frontenac Youth Services requires a pre-employment Medical Certificate and up-to-date immunizations
