Location: Remote (U.S. Based) – Preference for candidates located in the Seattle, WA area
While this position is remote and we welcome applicants from across the U.S., we have a strong preference for candidates based in the Seattle, WA area. This allows for occasional in-person collaboration and connection with team members and partners in the region.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a UX Designer to enhance the customer experience across multiple projects, including organized play, retail management, business intelligence, cross-team communication, and process management. In this role, you will collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver customer-focused solutions at scale. You must thrive in a collaborative environment, navigate complexity and ambiguity, and drive projects forward with innovation and purpose.
Responsibilities:
- Design intuitive, useful, and cohesive components, patterns, and layouts that reflect the brand and serve customer needs.
- Incorporate market analysis, customer feedback, and usability research into design solutions.
- Use business requirements and research insights to develop scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements.
- Create UI architecture, interface designs, and interaction flows based on customer journeys.
- Produce conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, click-throughs, and prototypes.
- Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications and design system documentation.
- Collaborate with product managers to effectively plan projects while maintaining design quality.
- Partner with front-end engineering teams to ensure scalable design implementation.
- Advocate passionately for design within cross-functional teams.
- Communicate design rationales and benefits effectively through writing and presentations.
- Leverage analytics and data to inform and validate design decisions.
- Create and maintain processes for scaling, updating, and managing a design system.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of design experience.
- 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX or interaction designer.
- An available online portfolio showcasing design work.
- Proven experience working collaboratively with teams and developers to implement designs.
- Strong visual design skills.
- Medium-high skills using a UX Prototyping tool such as Figma or Sketch, making strong use of re-usable assets like components
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working on mass-market consumer web or mobile products.
- Experience prototyping using tools such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Axure, or similar.

The base salary range for this role is influenced by several factors, including work location, job-related skills and experience, and other business needs. For this position, the target base salary is $100,000 - $120,000.
