Hours: Varies according to business needs
Rate: $19-21/hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities
· Produce a variety of pastries for our catering department, with an emphasis on accuracy and consistency
· Take count of and maintain inventory for consistently produced items
· Note when product is needed, and sharing with Pastry Sous Chef
· Note of any changes, edits and/or discrepancies between production lists and event paperwork
In addition to the above, position will be exposed to pastry production for our restaurant, eden, as well as our in-house bread program.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
- Food Handler's certification
- 2+ years of related experience, preferably in a high-volume setting
- Basic baking knowledge including batters, doughs and breakfast pastries
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Ability to read and follow recipes
- Effectively prioritize tasks while demonstrating good time management
- Work well both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and lift at least 50 pounds
- Flexible schedule, weekends required
