We have become established leaders in fluid swivels, electric swivels, combination electric / fluid swivels, fire apparatus swivels, and position sensing systems.
The position is hourly, full-time with benefits that include BCBS medical plans, dental and vision options, paid holidays, earned PTO and a 401k plan with an employer match. The Production Team works Monday thru Thursday (10 hour days) with some Friday overtime when needed to meet customer demand.
Job Summary: Choose the correct paint color/number, mix to the required consistency/viscosity and spray paint a variety of products.
Essential Functions:
- Read and follow written instructions and/or prints.
- Mask and cover surfaces not be painted.
- Mix and thin paint to required consistency as specified.
- Prepare surface of product and spray specified thickness of primer and/or top coat.
- Apply and/or retouch paint as needed.
- Clean up with the appropriate solvent and maintain all paint booth apparatus and area.
- Operate jib crane to move product.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Able to read and understand prints.
- 1 year of industrial paint experience.
Physical Demands:
- Visual acuity for detailed work.
- Regularly required to stand, bend, twist, use of hands and fingers.
- Regularly required to lift and/or move completed units weighing up to 35 pounds.
Work Environment:
- Required to wear a Tyvek suit, chemical hood, gloves and safety shoes while using a fresh air box filtration system.
- Must be able to work in an non air conditioned shop environment.
- The noise level in the work environment is normal for manufacturing.
