Description:
The Gymnastics Program Director oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all gymnastics programs within the facility. This role ensures that classes, training sessions, and events are safe, high-quality, well-staffed, and aligned with the mission of the organization. The Program Director provides leadership to coaching staff, supports gymnast development, and helps drive program growth.
Requirements:Program Leadership & Development
- Design, plan, and oversee all recreational and competitive gymnastics programs.
- Develop class schedules, session plans, and seasonal program offerings.
- Ensure programs meet safety standards and industry best practices.
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise coaches and support staff.
- Provide ongoing mentorship, evaluations, and professional development.
- Manage staff scheduling and coverage for all classes and events.
Athlete Experience & Safety
- Maintain a positive, motivating training environment for gymnasts of all ages and skill levels.
- Oversee proper equipment setup, safety protocols, and injury-prevention practices.
- Communicate regularly with athletes and parents regarding progress and expectations.
Administrative & Operational Oversight
- Manage program registrations, attendance, and class capacity.
- Coordinate facility use, equipment maintenance, and supply needs.
- Handle budgeting, program growth goals, and reporting responsibilities.
Customer & Community Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for families and participants.
- Address questions, concerns, and feedback with professionalism.
- Plan and execute special events, showcases, camps, and team competitions.
