The Project Engineer serves as a technical liaison between Red Dot Buildings and architects, general contractors, and foundation engineers. This role is responsible for reviewing architectural and structural drawings, Red Dot approval drawings, and making sound technical and business decisions that guide how projects move forward. The position requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review architectural drawings, structural drawings, and Red Dot approval drawings for accuracy and constructability.
- Serve as a technical point of contact between Red Dot Buildings and external project partners.
- Make technical and business decisions that impact project execution and timelines.
- Participate in customer-facing communication, including conference calls and approval meetings (approximately 10%).
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
- Communicate technical information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support successful project delivery.
- Perform additional engineering and project-related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent technical experience in the Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) industry.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to interpret construction and engineering drawings.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable making decisions and working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive, professional attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to travel to Athens, Texas for an in-person interview.
