What You’ll Do

• Program CNC machines (mills, lathes, and multi-axis equipment) using CAD/CAM software to support production needs.

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency, quality, and cycle times.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.

• Collaborate with engineering, machining, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.

• Perform tooling selection, setup instructions, and process documentation.

• Troubleshoot machining issues and support continuous improvement projects.



What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment (preferred: metalworking, molds, or precision machining).

• Experience with Siemens NX is welcome and preferred. 

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar).

• Strong understanding of G-code, CNC operations, and machining practices.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team.


What Will Set You Apart

• Experience with multi-axis programming (4-axis or 5-axis).

• Knowledge of mold manufacturing or tire mold machining.

• Experience optimizing programs for efficiency and tool life.

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 environments.

• Strong background in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or process optimization.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or vocational training in machining or CNC technology preferred.
• 3+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, Siemens NX, or similar.
• Strong understanding of G-code, machining processes, tooling, speeds/feeds, and setup practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
• Strong math, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet production deadlines.
• Must follow all safety, quality, and company procedures, including ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
 



Salary Information

$85000.00 - $95000.00 Annual Salary
