Territory Manager

About this position

Nourison is seeking a qualified Territory Manager with a strong desire to succeed and contribute to the company's growth. In this role, you will service and grow a portfolio of wholesale accounts in our North Central TX market (Dallas, TX market covering Dallas, TX and Oklahoma territories). Your primary responsibility will be to partner with and ensure the long-term success of customers while achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration. The ideal candidate will be a go-getter with a strong customer-focus who is able to understand the customer's business needs and present relevant solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and analyze accounts regularly to identify additional sales opportunities and maximize sales in assigned territory
  • Serve as the customer's single point of contact in the area, working closely with the customer to gain insights into business needs and opportunities
  • Visit customers regularly to deliver sales presentations and ensure all marketing collateral are current
  • Develop new business through referrals, networking, and cold calling
  • Maintain customer and sales activity data via sales performance software system.
  • Attend trade shows to connect with new and existing customers and prospects
  • Resolve customer issues and manage/escalate concerns as appropriate

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent a plus
  • 3+ years of field sales and/or account management experience
  • Experience in the wholesale and/or retail, home décor or home fashion industry is a plus
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proficient in MS Office suite; experience with a CRM system is a plus
  • Must be able to attend/work at designated key industry trade shows
  • Ability and willingness to travel (80%)
  • Candidate must reside in or around the greater Dallas, TX Area
