Description:
QuikCut is seeking a skilled Industrial Painter and Blaster to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and performing blasting operations to ensure high-quality finishes on various industrial structures and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and blasting.
- Apply primers, paints, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Operate blasting equipment to remove old paint, rust, and other contaminants.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired finishes.
- Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure proper surface preparation.
- Maintain and clean painting and blasting equipment.
- Proven experience as an industrial painter.
- Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials.
- Ability to operate and maintain painting and blasting equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.
- Certification in industrial painting or blasting is a plus.
