Dock 17 at The City Forum is seeking an energetic, guest-focused Front of House Associate to support our high-volume restaurant and entertainment venue. This role functions as a Dining Room Attendant and is a tipped position. We are looking for individuals who take pride in hospitality, maintain professionalism under pressure, and actively contribute to a clean, welcoming, and team-oriented environment.

Compensation

Starting at $7.25/hour + tips
This is a tipped position.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests with confidence and professionalism
• Provide menu guidance and accurate POS order entry
• Verify guest identification in compliance with Tennessee alcohol laws
• Prepare and deliver food and beverages according to service standards
• Process payments accurately and balance cash drawers as assigned
• Maintain clean, organized dining and service areas
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
• Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policies 

Qualifications

• Energetic, guest-first mindset with a professional demeanor
• Ability to remain positive and efficient during peak service periods
• Strong communication and situational awareness
• Reliable attendance and schedule flexibility, including evenings and weekends
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Must meet Tennessee legal age requirements for alcohol service
• Must obtain and maintain a valid TABC certification

Prior restaurant or customer service experience is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to guest satisfaction.

Work Environment

This position requires extended standing and walking, lifting up to 25–40 pounds, and working in a dynamic entertainment environment with crowd activity and background noise.
