Relationship Management Summary:
Relationship Management at R&T plays a critical role in managing and strengthening the firm’s relationships with key financial institutions, including Banks, Trusts, Broker-Dealers, FinTechs, and other financial intermediaries. This position serves as the primary point of contact for clients and is responsible for ensuring long-term partnership success, client satisfaction, and revenue growth.
Position Summary:
The Relationship Management Intern will support R&T’s Relationship Management team in managing and growing client relationships across Banks, Trusts, Broker-Dealers, FinTechs, and other financial intermediaries. This role provides exposure to strategic account management, client engagement, and revenue growth initiatives within a fintech environment.
The intern will maintain and update client data in Salesforce, track relationship health metrics including NPS, and assist in preparing executive reports and updates for senior leadership. They will participate in client meetings, support upsell and cross-sell efforts, assist with issue resolution, and contribute to process improvement projects. The role also includes developing and refining PowerPoint presentations for client meetings and internal strategy discussions.
Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day Relationship Management activities and shadow team members to gain exposure to client engagement and account strategy.
- Maintain, clean up, and ensure data integrity within Salesforce, including account updates, activity tracking, NPS scores, agreement links, and contact cleansing.
- Participate in client meetings, assist with issue resolution, and support follow-up communications and action items.
- Develop and enhance PowerPoint Quarterly Business Review (QBR) templates tailored by account.
- Organize and develop standardized pre-meeting, post-meeting, and client review templates to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Assist in the development and ongoing enhancement of a Relationship Management dashboard to track relationship health, KPIs, and NPS.
- Review and consolidate Relationship Management folders from F Drive and OneDrive into a centralized Relationship Management folder on SharePoint.
- Organize and support client outreach initiatives, including coordination, tracking, and reporting.
- Assist with process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and client experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Client Services, Product, IT, Operations and Sales, to ensure alignment of client needs
Qualifications and Skills:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other productivity tools
- Interest in financial technology, client services, and process improvement
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in customer service, financial services, or project management (preferred but not required)

This is a paid internship. Interns are paid a range of $20-22 per hour. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This is a hybrid internship based in Midtown Manhattan. The R&T Internship Program runs from approximately June 1, 2026 through August 7, 2026.
