Job Overview
Middletown Chevrolet is hiring an experienced Automotive Sales Consultant to join our high-volume dealership. This sales consultant role is designed for automotive professionals who know how to close deals, manage leads, and consistently deliver an excellent customer experience.
As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you’ll work with strong customer traffic, competitive GM inventory, and a management team focused on helping each sales consultant maximize earning potential.
Automotive Sales Consultant Responsibilities
Manage the full vehicle sales process as an Automotive Sales Consultant, from initial contact through delivery
Sell new and pre-owned vehicles as a professional sales consultant
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
Handle inbound and outbound leads via phone, text, email, and CRM
Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives
Work closely with managers and finance to close deals efficiently
Meet or exceed monthly sales goals as a performance-driven sales consultant
Sales Consultant Requirements
Previous automotive sales experience preferred
Proven success as an Automotive Sales Consultant or similar role
Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
Valid driver’s license
Compensation & Benefits
Estimated annual earnings: $80,000–$140,000+
Uncapped commission structure
