Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure they are safe and reliable for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and a passion for delivering top-notch service. You will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to their original condition, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural repairs
  • Repair and replace damaged vehicle parts, including bumpers, fenders, and doors
  • Conduct frame straightening and alignment
  • Review each repair order, work order, and estimator’s notes to understand repairs needed prior to beginning work on the vehicle
  • All repairs must be completed according to the documentation on the repair order or the supplement
  • Inspect and assess vehicle damage to determine repair requirement
  • Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and industry standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Proven experience as a Body Shop Technician or similar role

· Proficiency in auto body repair techniques and tools

· Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and safety standards

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

· ASE or I-CAR certification is a plus
