About the Role:
As the B2B Marketing Manager at Pacific Smoke International, you will lead the division’s B2B marketing strategy and vision, overseeing a diverse portfolio of our in-house brands and products. This role combines both strategic leadership and hands-on execution, where you will manage a team of 6-7 members, including internal employees and brand ambassadors. You will be responsible for developing and executing impactful B2B marketing strategies that align with business goals while ensuring compliance with Canadian regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the 3Cs (Consumer, Customer, Competitor) and 4Ps (Product, Price, Promotion, Placement), with a passion for using data to drive decisions. Your leadership will help drive strategies to enhance category and brand presence within our retail customer’s channels (in-stores and digital). You will be tasked with creating shopper-centric solutions that resonate with our B2B customers and partners, leveraging insights from consumers, categories, channels, customers, and competitors to develop compelling value propositions and channel expansion plans. By collaborating closely with sales, brand, design, and product teams, you will ensure these propositions drive business growth, innovation, and continuous improvement. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and data-driven decision-making will be key to driving results and innovation in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • B2B Strategy Development & Execution: Lead the creation and implementation of B2B marketing strategies to drive sales, brand visibility, and customer loyalty across our retail customers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer teams to ensure alignment of B2B marketing initiatives with overall brand objectives.
  • Promotional Campaigns & POS Materials: Plan and execute effective promotional campaigns, events, and design point-of-sale materials to enhance product visibility and drive consumer engagement.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners and stakeholders to maximize sales opportunities and ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Budget Management & ROI Optimization: Oversee the B2B marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maximizing return on investment.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a B2B marketing team, fostering growth, training, and ensuring successful execution of initiatives.
  • Industry Compliance & Innovation: Ensure compliance with industry regulations while identifying emerging trends to maintain leadership in B2B marketing practices.
  • Market Insights & Performance Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to inform B2B marketing strategies and report on campaign performance.
  • Travel locally within the Greater Toronto Area to conduct market visits 1-2 times per month and travel to other provinces (AB, BC, QC) 1-2 times per year.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in developing and executing retail B2B marketing strategies, with a strong track record of driving growth and delivering impactful results.
  • Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to transform processes and strategies, develop best practices, and efficiently manage complex divisional projects, including the creation and launch of innovative point-of-sale merchandising materials.
  • In-depth knowledge of key retail partners and their go-to-market strategies, along with extensive cross-functional project management expertise and a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business operations.
  • Highly data-driven, with a strong ability to analyze insights and leverage data to inform and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Adaptable and thrives in fast-paced environments, with a proven ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining focus on key objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and mentor teams effectively.
