This position will develop programs to control 9 axis soft and hard metal mill-turning. The position requires a candidate to have experience efficiently programming parts and tooling for CNC machining.



Requirements

Preferred candidates must have experience in the following areas:


Must be a team player with dedication, integrity, who wants to collaborate and be empowered

Experience using CAM software to program mills, lathes or mill turns

EdgeCam and/or Catia V5 experience a plus

Experience operating mill turn machines

Traditional milling experience is a plus

Experience in using verification software to prove out programs

Ability to read blueprints and interpret models

Ability to take a print and model and develop a CNC program

Creating set up documents

Concepting, design and development of work holding

Setting up and proving out a first part with a new program

Ability to work with and coach machinists

Ability to collaborate with programming department on strategy and approach

Using and reading micrometers and calipers

Willing to assist estimating in developing cycle time estimates

Deploy business acumen to make sound financial decisions

Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Understands common materials and processes for machine shops

Technical background to understand mechanical assemblies

Capable to prepare labor/material estimate and work breakdown schedule

Ability to multi-task in rapidly growing organization
