Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine, complex, and highly technical ultrasound procedures using non-ionizing, high-frequency ultrasonic waves for diagnostic purposes.
- Work independently and with sound judgment in various diagnostic sonography tasks, providing vital support to the Radiology Department.
- Collaborate with the Radiology Director, Manager, Radiologist, and Ultrasound Supervisor to ensure high-quality imaging services.
- Specialize in areas such as vascular, OB, and small parts imaging.
- Lead and support the Sonography team in delivering top-quality patient care, ensuring compliance with department standards.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an approved CAHEA/JRCT school of Radiologic Technology or a two-year allied health equivalent.
- ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) certification is required; ARRT is preferred.
- Open to new graduates who are ARDMS license-eligible.
- 2-3 years of sonography experience preferred (vascular, OB, and small parts experience is highly desirable).
