Society Insurance is seeking an experienced Credit & Collections Analyst to join our team! This position resolves routine credit and collections issues and cultivates relationships with policyholders, agents, and collection agency partners to discuss and resolve open accounts receivables issues.
About the Role
- Contacting and communicating regularly with customers regarding past due balances.
- Sending necessary correspondence regarding late payments/past due balances.
- Tracking past due balances.
- Working with collection agencies on past-due accounts.
- Minimizes bad debt write-offs and maximizes cash receipts.
- Reconciling customer payments and billings
- Preparing management reports related to write-offs, Workers’ Compensation Rating Bureau accounts, etc.
About You

- You are a self-starter who takes initiative.
What it Will Take
- Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field with at least 3 years of experience in credit and collections or related field.
OR
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field with at least 2 years of experience in credit and collections or related field.
- Proficient in use of Billing and Collections applications
- Strong math skills.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent customer service skills.
