About the Role
HeyTutor has partnered with a local school district in Baltimore to provide high-impact, in-person tutoring to Elementary School students. Applicants must have completed an Associate’s degree or higher, or be currently enrolled in college.
We are hiring Spanish Bilingual English & Math Tutors to support students in grades k–5th during the school day. This is a great opportunity for college students, aspiring educators, and education professionals looking for consistent hours, competitive pay, and meaningful work in their community.

Pay & Benefits
- $22–$26 per hour, based on education and experience

Schedule
- Monday–Friday availability required
- Must be available between 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Requirements
- Completed AA degree or higher, OR currently enrolled in college (required)
- Experience working with children or tutoring preferred
- Comfortable tutoring Elementary Math and English Language Arts (ELA)
- Ability to manage small groups independently
- Comfortable working in a classroom setting
- Ability to pass an FBI-DOJ in-person background check (provided by HeyTutor)
- Spanish Bilingual is required
Key Responsibilities
- Tutor small groups of Elementary students without direct teacher supervision
- Deliver lessons using provided curriculum and materials
- Create an engaging, welcoming learning environment
- Support positive student behavior and participation
- Track attendance and student progress using the HeyTutor Dashboard
- Assist with student assessments when requested
- Escort students to and from designated areas on campus
- Clock in/out daily using Deputy
- Complete additional duties as assigned
