The Clinical Manager leads the clinical department by providing strong leadership to a team of Clinical Supervisors, driving clinical excellence, and implementing proactive, solutions-focused strategies to support both client outcomes and business operations.

Compensation is competitive and determined based on experience and scope of responsibility (Clinical Manager vs. Clinical Director level).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a team of Clinical Supervisors (4+ sups), to help them succeed in their responsibilities
  • Complete clinic-based, 3-tier supervision (min. 60% of the job is clinical contact). No direct case management by the Clinical Director
  • Manage performance scorecard for Clinical Supervisors
  • Lead weekly individual Supervisor Meetings about caseload, authorization hours
  • Meet or exceed operating targets as an individual and for a supervised team
  • Use Organizational Behavior Management to manage the team
  • Train Clinical Supervisors
  • Carry out clinical responsibilities and adjust staffing of treatment teams as necessary to effectively provide interventions to meet the full extent of services authorized and support families.
  • Ensure clinical quality, compliance, regulatory, and funding requirements are met, and act if they are not
  • Liaison with the administrative department
  • Monitor quality improvement initiatives
  • Assist with HR and interviews
  • Develop proactive business solutions
  • Evaluate Clinical Supervisors
  • Initiate and execute proactive business solutions
  • Write and monitor performance plans
  • Partner with colleagues and managers to ensure a positive customer experience for all clients through coordinated service delivery.

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BCBA or BCBA-D
  • Demonstrated experience in ABA and Managing Clinical Supervisors for over 10 years
  • Minimum of 8-10 years as a Clinical Supervisor
  • Demonstrated experience in parent training, VB-Mapp, AFLS, EFL, FBA
  • Commitment to building, developing, and supporting diverse teams
  • Commitment to ongoing training and development related to clinical skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Consistent good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Experience with data collection software such as Aloha, Motivity
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
