About this position
Description:
The Outpatient Services Manager provides clinical and operational leadership for the Telos PrTMS, Intensive Outpatient, and Partial Hospitalization programs. This role ensures delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care while maintaining regulatory compliance, staff supervision, census management, and financial accountability.
Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical Oversight & Program Quality
- Oversee daily operations of program services
- Ensure programming aligns with best practices and evidence-based treatment models
- Maintain appropriate therapeutic structure, curriculum, and group schedules
- Review and monitor treatment plans for clinical appropriateness and documentation quality
- Support crisis intervention and risk management as needed
- Ensure appropriate level-of-care placement and step-down/up transitions
Staff Supervision & Development
- Supervise therapists, case managers, technicians and support staff
- Hire, train, and develop assigned staff members per program requirements
- Provide regular clinical supervision (as license allows)
- Facilitate weekly program meetings with program staff
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and clinical excellence
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory standards
- Audit documentation completion, timeliness, and quality.
Financial & Operational Oversight
- Manage program budgets in partnership with executive leadership
- Monitor productivity standards and billing compliance
- Ensure staff schedules align with census and productivity expectations
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements
Family & Community Engagement
- Ensure appropriate family programming and communication
- Maintain relationships with referral partners, hospitals, and community providers
- Communicate services with families enrolled in other Telos programs
- Represent the program in community outreach events when needed
Program Development & Innovation
- Evaluate program outcomes and client satisfaction data
- Develop new tracks, specialty groups, or curriculum enhancements
- Support strategic growth initiatives
Requirements
- Utah State clinical license (LMFT, LCSW, etc.)
- Master's level or higher
- Professional documentation and charting skills
- Experience in treating youth and young adults
- Comfortable with team approach
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supervising other employees
- Working knowledge of Family Systems Theory
- Special training in working with emotional dysregulation
