We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator who is eager to grow their HR career while gaining hands-on payroll experience. This role provides comprehensive training and development in payroll processing, offering an excellent opportunity to expand your skill set within a dynamic HR environment.

- Hours: M-F 8am – 4:30 pm
- Location: 6300 N. River Road, Rosemont, IL 60018
- Salary: $50,000
Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator supports day-to-day HR operations while gaining hands-on training in payroll administration. Over time, this role will progressively assist with payroll processing, reporting, and compliance.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who is eager to broaden their expertise and expand into payroll functions as part of their career development.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Responsibilities
- Support new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a seamless employee experience
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage HRIS data integrity
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments and employee inquiries
- Promote compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment regulations
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and support training/development programs
- Prepare HR reports, documentation, and internal communications as needed
Payroll Training & Support Responsibilities
- Receive hands-on training in payroll systems, processes, and best practices
- Review time sheets and attendance records for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with payroll data entry, processing, and verification
- Maintain organized and confidential payroll records
- Ensure strict confidentiality and data security of sensitive payroll information
- Support payroll reporting, audits, and compliance efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of HR experience
- Strong interest in learning payroll processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
