General Description:  Self-directed and experienced Accountant with strong analytical, technology, communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable/billing activities, purchasing and assisting with month end closing procedures. The candidate selected for this position will assist with the support of the Company’s Accounting and Finance Team, while ensuring success in the day-to-day activities associated with organizational and departmental goals. The selected candidate will have the ability to master the Company’s Accounting & Finance concepts, while retaining a broad knowledge of principles in other areas. It will be necessary to continuously train, develop, build experience, exhibit exceptional decision and judgement skills in an effort to plan and accomplish common and individual goals within the Company. Tasks can/will be performed using a large degree and variety of creativity; individual latitude is provided, encouraged, recognized and rewarded.

The responsibilities associated with this position will include supporting and/or assisting the Company’s CFO and Controller and may require travel to and from our corporate office and/or general offices.  The selected candidate will be part of a high-performing team; we pride ourselves in providing the highest level of service and customer satisfaction in our industry.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:


? Assisting with month-end closing procedures

? Establishing and maintaining internal controls

? Researching accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles

? Assisting with monthly and quarterly reporting to ownership team

? Responsible for all customer billing

? Receiving purchase orders and processing

? Responsible for the oversight and completion of account analysis, reconciliations, journal entries and monitoring daily bank activity

? Required to exhibit a strong customer service focus and be a contributing team player; while providing a high level of aptitude and skill in handling time sensitive situations

? Maintain real time understanding of the financial condition of all projects through the use of both human and technological intelligence

? Responsible for various projects as needed for the CFO or Controller

? Performs other duties and functions as assigned, under the direction of the CFO or Controller of INdigital

? Must be able to communicate with and/or disseminate information and details to employee and/or groups as required in the course of your duties and responsibilities

? May require travel to company sites, customer sites, workshops and conferences

Requirements:

   

Knowledge & Skills:


? Advanced experience using QuickBooks is preferred but is not required; knowledge of other related accounting software systems is a plus

? Must be organized, detail oriented and possess a strong work ethic

? Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

? Must be able to quickly learn and understand new processes

? Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and implement corrective actions

? Experience working with inventory/inventory control and purchasing systems

? Experience working with accounts receivable/billing

? Accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills

? Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to take the initiative to perform effectively within a fast-paced, high-volume/changing environment, with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

? Deliver effective oral and written communication skills; and possess an ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues

? Knowledge of DocuSign, Google Suite, MS Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), and other related software systems


Other Requirements:


? Maintain a valid driver’s license

? Be willing to work as required with a flexible schedule to accomplish departmental goals and be available by phone or other communications device(s), on an as needed basis

? In instances when you cannot be available, you will need to plan for someone else to cover your responsibilities and ensure that your manager has been advised of the circumstances

? Attend meetings and planning discussions which may potentially be scheduled outside regular working hours

? Must demonstrate the ability to work with people at all levels of the organization

? Present a clean, neat, businesslike workspace and appearance, wear appropriate attire and safety equipment (as needed)

? Be prepared to complete any assigned task as required by your supervisor and in accordance with the satisfactory completion of all job duties and responsibilities

Experience:


? At least 2 years’ experience in public/corporate accounting or a recent college graduate is required

? Experience working within a Telecommunications, Public Safety, or related industry, preferred

? Knowledge of US GAAP


Education & Certification Requirements: 


? Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field of study is required
