MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department and evaluating systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Hires and trains maintenance department staff.

  • Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff.

  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

  • Handles discipline of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

  • Champions the development and continued growth of maintenance staff in alignment with their individual interests and passions.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.

  • Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.

  • Assesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules.

  • Develops maintenance procedures and schedules.

  • Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.

  • Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.

  • Ensures failures are understood, and organizes improvements or corrective actions.

  • Utilizes the maintenance management system (SAP) to monitor health of maintenance backlog, order history, and preventative maintenance due dates

  • Coordinates on-prem computer equipment account setup, configuration, and distribution

  • Oversees on-prem help desk support as required

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.

  • Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.

  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.

  • Proficient with Google Workspace software or similar software.

  • Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with at least 10 years maintenance experience Preferred to have at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • OR Undergraduate degree in engineering or similar field with at least 2 years leadership experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.

  • Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.

  • Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.


Salary Information

$85000.0 - $105000.0 Annual Salary
