Position Overview
We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our supportive and fast-paced dental practice in St. Paul, MN. This role plays a critical part in the daily success of our clinic and serves as the first impression for our patients. Professionalism, friendliness, and strong organizational skills are essential.
This is an entry-level position, and training will be provided. Previous dental office experience is highly preferred but not required.

Schedule Options
- 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts
- Day and evening shifts available
- Weekend availability as needed
Responsibilities
- Answer phones promptly and professionally and direct patient inquiries appropriately
- Schedule appointments for doctors, dental therapists, and hygienists to ensure efficient provider schedules
- Verify and update patient billing and insurance information with accuracy and attention to detail
- Check in patients upon arrival while maintaining privacy, efficiency, and a welcoming environment
- Update patient forms and scan documentation into patient charts
- Coordinate interpreter services as needed to support patient care
- Process incoming and outgoing requests including referrals, record transfers, prescription requests, head start forms, and post-operative calls
- Process patient payments and ensure accurate posting to provider accounts
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Previous customer service, front desk, or administrative experience preferred
- Dental office experience highly preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail when handling patient information and financial transactions
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office (dental software experience a plus; training provided)
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
- Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented team member
