Description:
Oversee Parts and Service department in conjunction with the Service and Parts Manager to establish processes, drive growth and profitability while providing exceptional customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Consult and collaborate with the Parts Manager and dealership management on all aspects of Fixed Operations.
- Wholesale growth
- All fill rate analysis
- Lost sales tracking
- General growth and profitability of the dealership parts business
- Develop, implement, and coordinate a strategic plan to maximize margins
- Lead a team of professionals to achieve aggressive sales goals and profit objectives
- Optimize parts inventory through the direction and influence of dealership management to ensure the attainment of Parts Sales objectives
- Drive growth and operational processes by utilizing the following tools, systems, products, and software:
- MPI – Inspection Process
- CSS – Competitive Services Strategy
- Reynolds Advance Service preferred
- Luxury Brand experience helpful
- Valvoline chemical program
- And others as determined
- Utilize systems, hardware, software, marketing, and products to maximize efficiency and accurately track inventory
- Implement and manage best practices that deliver exceptional CSI scores
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Track record of excellent Customer Service Index is a must
- Prior experience and proven success in leading and managing a team to meet or exceed clear goals and objectives
- Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain great talent
- Experience and desire to work with technology
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work within a fast-paced environment
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3+ years of automotive Service Director/Service Manager experience
- Bachelors, degree or equivalent experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Prolonged periods of sitting.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
- Occasional lifting, standing, crawling, reaching, use of stairs.
- Occasional attendance at social gatherings.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
