Physical Therapist – Early Intervention (Ages 0–3)
Aspire Behavioral Services is seeking a contract licensed Physical Therapist to provide early intervention services to infants and toddlers (ages 0–3) with developmental delays or disabilities. In this role, you will deliver home- and community-based services that support motor development, mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and overall physical functioning. You will conduct evaluations and developmental assessments, develop and implement intervention strategies aligned with each child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), and monitor progress toward meaningful, functional outcomes.
This position emphasizes a family-centered, coaching-based approach, empowering caregivers to embed therapeutic strategies into daily routines and natural environments. The Physical Therapist collaborates closely with Developmental Specialists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Service Coordinators, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care. Timely documentation and compliance with Nevada Part C and IDEA regulations are essential components of this role.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Candidates must hold a Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program and maintain an active Nevada Physical Therapy license in good standing. Experience working with infants and toddlers (ages 0–3) or within early intervention is strongly preferred. Applicants must possess strong clinical judgment, communication, and caregiver coaching skills. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required, as services are provided in home and community settings. Background checks, CPR/BLS certification, and annual HIPAA compliance training are required.
This role requires frequent travel, floor-based interaction with children, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
