About this position
Are you ready to shape the future of International Education in Senegal? Do you dream of leading schools toward excellence, navigating IB accreditation, or elevating pedagogical standards through analytical leadership?
Enko Education is continuing its impact in Senegal. We are currently looking for visionary IBDP Coordinators to join our schools. These roles offer unique challenges: focusing on the strategic journey toward IB accreditation and on high-level pedagogical leadership and team cohesion.
Your mission will revolve around two main pillars:
The Architect (Accreditation Focus): You will lead the transformative initiative of preparing a school for IBDP accreditation. You will design long-term academic plans, manage the 2026 accreditation roadmap, and build the foundation for a thriving IB community.
The Strategist (Pedagogical Excellence Focus): You will act as a deep-thinking leader capable of decrypting pedagogy with an analytical lens. You are a "team player" at heart, gifted in interpersonal dynamics, capable of rallying a faculty around a shared vision of academic rigor.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Accreditation: Oversee the preparation for IBDP accreditation or evaluation. Manage documentation, IB relations, and strategic timelines.
Pedagogical Leadership: Analyze and deconstruct teaching practices to ensure high-quality delivery. Visit classrooms, mentor teachers, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Team Mastery: Act as a bridge between administration and staff. Use your emotional intelligence to build strong, collaborative teams where every teacher feels supported and inspired.
Student & Curriculum Oversight: Design programs to prepare students for the DP core (TOK, CAS, EE). Coordinate Grade 10 transitions and ensure skill-building aligns with IB expectations.
Advisory: Act as the primary point of contact for IB requirements, advising the Head of School on strategic academic decisions.
Your Profile
We are looking for seasoned professionals who bring:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience within the IBDP framework (as a teacher, TOK/CAS coordinator, or DP Coordinator).
Analytical Mindset: An ability to "decode" pedagogy and use data/observations to improve learning outcomes.
Interpersonal Charisma: A true "people person" who knows how to gain the trust of a team and foster a positive school climate.
Bilingualism: Proficiency in both English and French is mandatory. Knowledge of Wolof is a significant plus.
Adaptability: Openness to working in different environments within Senegal (coastal or urban).
Contract, Location and Timing
Contract: Full-time.
Location: Senegal (Dakar / Ngaparou). Specific campus preferences will be discussed during the application process.
Timing: ASAP
Requirement: Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Senegal.
Why Join Enko Education in Senegal?
Join a pan-African network of 14+ schools dedicated to democratizing high-quality international education.
High-Impact Leadership: Leave a lasting mark by leading an accreditation process or elevating an established program through analytical expertise.
Innovation & Autonomy: Don't just follow the IB guide; adapt it to the African context within a culture that encourages pedagogical experimentation.
Professional Network: Benefit from a vibrant community of DP Coordinators across the continent, sharing best practices and central support.
Exceptional Setting: Choose between the cosmopolitan energy of Dakar or the serene coastal lifestyle of the Petite Côte.
People-First Culture: Join a collaborative environment where your ability to build human connections is as valued as your academic rigor.

Fit Interview: To get to know you and discuss your location preferences and professional aspirations.
Case Study: To test your analytical skills and pedagogical vision.
