Accounting Operations Analyst

All Star Healthcare Solutions is looking for an Accounting Operations Analyst who is responsible for analyzing provider pay and invoicing disputes and making decisions that directly impact financial results. The Analyst evaluates underlying causes, recommends practical solutions, and contributes to process improvements that help reduce disputes and safeguard revenue.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Investigate provider pay and invoicing discrepancies.
• Quantifyfinancial impactand recommendappropriate corrections.
• Coordinate with Shared Services to ensure accurate system updates.
• Ensure corrections are logged and properly categorized.

Correction Monitoring

• Maintain accurate dispute tracking records.
• Monitor open items and escalate aging risks to Lead.
• Support identification of recurring root causes.

System & Documentation Accuracy

• Validate coding, rate alignment, and classification accuracy in ERP/CRM.
• Ensure all adjustments are supported by proper documentation.
• Assist in preparing weekly trend reporting.

Cross-Functional Support

• Collaborate with Sales, AR, and Operations to clarify discrepancies.
• Support process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing repeat errors.

Knowledge, Skills/Abilities: 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong Excel and ERP system skills (Sage Intacct or Salesforce experience preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and make independent decisions with financial consequences
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and interest in process improvement

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in finance operations, AR/AP, revenue cycle, or accounting roles.
• Any combination of knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and/or education may be considered

Physical Requirements: 

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
