American Plastics, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative plastic-injection molded products for the household & garage storage and commercial cleaning end-markets. We are searching for a Receiving Clerk for our Jefferson City, MO location. This position will report to the Materials Supervisor.

Schedule: 

Monday - Friday 7am to 3:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Performs clerical duties including typing, filing, and completion of simple forms.
  • Unload trucks safely via forklift. 
  • Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment.
  • Copies, sorts, and files records related to office activities, business transactions, and other matters.
  • Prepares letters, memos, forms, and reports according to written or verbal instructions.
  • Maintains filing systems either manually or electronically.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:

  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 3+  year of forklift experience. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, primarily Excel
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
