Security Patrol Officer
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Patrol Officer to join our dedicated security team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by patrolling designated areas, monitoring for suspicious activity, and ensuring the safety of personnel and property. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to deter and detect security breaches or unauthorized activities
- Monitor surveillance equipment and review security footage as needed
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Write detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and observations
- Enforce company policies and safety procedures
- Assist visitors and employees with directions or inquiries in a professional manner
- Maintain a visible presence to promote a secure environment
This is a Seasonal Part-Time position.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or related field preferred
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform patrol duties
- Must be able to obtain a CA guard card
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
